Sajles is a vivacious professional dancer, who has worked in his native New York teaching dance and choreography in such clubs as Swing 46 and Jack Rose. He has worked with the Connecticut Ballet Theatre, Dance Manhattan and in productions off Broadway. In 2003 Sajles moved to Slovenia, the birthplace of his father, where he single-handedly founded the now-thriving Slovenian swing scene. The group he founded, Sajles & his Swing Kids, performed to massive acclaim in most of the major festivals and casinos in Slovenia and beyond. His numerous television and newspaper appearances, including a feature on MTV, have made him instantly recognisable across Europe and the USA.

Now, thanks to his weekly Swing Night at Ollie's in the Merchant Hotel, he is about to be the face of swing in Belfast.
